Short film competition’s awards recieved by winners. In cooperation with Republic of Turkey Ministry of Interior Directorate General of Migration Management and International Organisation for Migration , “Camdan Yürekler Short Film Competition” is organised in order to raise awareness for critical conditioned immigrants protection needs in 28 th of March 2017 at Ankara Mövenpick Hotel.

Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Interior and governor Dr. Mehmet TEKINARSLAN, General Director of Migration Management Atilla TOROS, The Commodore of Coast Guard Defense Forces Bülent OLCAY, Undersecretary of British Embassy Rochelle COHEN and representative of International Organisation for Migration Mazen ABOULHOSN and also prize winners, students who participated in the competition and foreign guests from different nationalities attended the Award Ceremony.

General Director of Migration Management Atilla TOROS stated that Turkey welcomes 3 million Syrians with the leadership of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Turkey, in his speech at the ceremony.
Mr. Toros also emphasized that the most victims of migration are women and children and with the “ Camdan Yürekler Short Film Competition” it is aimed to raise awareness for all immigrants in vulnerable situation and about their needs for protection such as women and children.

General Director of Migration Management Atilla TOROS is pointed out that over 3 million immigrants and refugees in Turkey are not just numbers they are all worthy as a human being and they all have different stories. Mr. Toros thanked to the partners of foundation who organized the project to raise awareness about immigrants in a sensitive situation, to the members of the jury and all students who participated in contest.

Awards were presented to the winners after the opening speech.
